Returns & Refunds Overview

Eligible change-of-mind returns must be requested within 7 calendar days of delivery.

Circuit Plus aims to provide quality products and excellent customer service. Customers may request a return, refund, replacement, exchange, or warranty assessment subject to this policy, applicable South African consumer protection legislation, supplier terms, and manufacturer warranty conditions.

All returns must be approved by Circuit Plus before any product is returned. Unauthorized returns may be delayed, refused, or returned to the customer.

Return Window

Eligible change-of-mind return requests should be submitted within 7 days of delivery. The product must be unused, unopened, complete, in its original packaging, and suitable for resale.

Defective products, damaged-on-arrival products, incorrect products, and warranty-related returns may be subject to separate assessment timeframes depending on the product, supplier, manufacturer, and applicable law.

Return Method

Customers must contact Circuit Plus before returning any product. Approved returns may be sent by courier to our returns address or collected by courier where arranged and confirmed by Circuit Plus.

Collections, exchanges, returns, and warranty handovers are handled by prior arrangement only.

Return Authorization

Before returning any product, customers must obtain return authorization and return instructions from Circuit Plus. This helps confirm eligibility, packaging requirements, documentation, product condition, serial numbers, accessories, and the correct return process.

Return Shipping Costs

For change-of-mind returns, incorrect orders placed by the customer, returns where no fault is found, or returns not caused by a Circuit Plus error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Where the return is due to an incorrect product supplied by Circuit Plus, a verified damaged-on-arrival claim, or a verified defective product approved through the applicable assessment process, Circuit Plus may arrange or cover the return shipping cost once the claim is approved.

Restocking, Handling & Supplier Fees

Circuit Plus does not charge a standard restocking fee on approved eligible returns.

However, where a returned product is incomplete, opened, damaged, missing accessories, missing packaging, used, not in resaleable condition, or where supplier-imposed charges are incurred, Circuit Plus reserves the right to deduct reasonable restocking, handling, testing, repackaging, courier, or supplier processing costs from any refund where permitted by applicable law.

Eligible Returns

Products may qualify for return where the incorrect product was supplied, the product was damaged on arrival, the product is defective, the return is approved by the supplier or manufacturer, or where the return qualifies under applicable South African consumer protection legislation.

Change Of Mind Returns

Change-of-mind returns may be considered where the product is unused, unopened, complete, in its original packaging, and suitable for resale. The customer is generally responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Incorrect Products Delivered

If an incorrect product is delivered, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt. Once verified, Circuit Plus will assist with collection, replacement, exchange, credit, or refund where applicable.

Damaged On Arrival

If a product arrives damaged, please notify us as soon as possible and provide clear photos of the product, packaging, courier label, and any visible damage. Damage claims may require courier, supplier, or manufacturer assessment before approval.

Defective Products

Products that are defective or fail under normal use may qualify for repair, replacement, credit, or refund depending on the fault, supplier process, manufacturer warranty, product condition, and applicable consumer protection legislation.

Dead On Arrival (DOA)

Products reported as faulty upon first use may qualify for a DOA assessment. Supporting information, inspection, testing, supplier approval, or manufacturer confirmation may be required before replacement, credit, or refund approval.

Supplier & Manufacturer Assessment

Certain returns may require inspection, testing, verification, or approval by the manufacturer, distributor, or supplier before a refund, repair, replacement, exchange, or credit can be authorized.

Where supplier or manufacturer terms apply, Circuit Plus may only approve the final return outcome once the relevant supplier or manufacturer has completed its assessment.

Original Product Condition

Products approved for return must be returned in substantially the same condition as received, including original packaging, accessories, manuals, cables, power supplies, documentation, serial number labels, warranty materials, and any included promotional items where applicable.

Product Inspection

Returned products may be inspected to confirm condition, completeness, packaging, serial numbers, accessories, fault details, and return eligibility. Products that are damaged, incomplete, misused, altered, or not in resaleable condition may be refused or subject to deductions where permitted.

Refused Deliveries

Refusing delivery of an order does not automatically cancel the order or entitle the customer to a full refund. Any approved refund may be subject to courier charges, return shipping costs, supplier charges, or handling costs incurred by Circuit Plus.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are generally processed within 3–10 business days after the returned product has been received, inspected, and approved. The final refund timing may depend on the payment provider, payment method, and the customer’s banking institution.

Refunds are normally processed to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or required.

Exchanges & Replacements

Exchanges and replacements are subject to stock availability, supplier approval, product condition, and verification of the return request. Where the original product is unavailable, Circuit Plus may offer an alternative product, store credit, or refund where applicable.

Cancellations Before Dispatch

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch or supplier fulfilment where possible. If payment has already been received and the order has not yet been dispatched, Circuit Plus will process the approved cancellation and refund according to the applicable payment provider timelines.

Cancellations After Dispatch

Orders that have already been dispatched, handed to a courier, specially ordered, configured, licensed, or processed by a supplier may be subject to return conditions, supplier charges, courier costs, or cancellation restrictions.

Special-Order & Custom Products

Special-order products, custom-configured items, built-to-order systems, project-specific equipment, and supplier-procured products may not qualify for cancellation, return, exchange, or refund unless defective or otherwise required by applicable law.

Software, Licenses & Digital Products

Software licenses, digital products, activation keys, subscriptions, downloadable products, and activated services are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once issued, activated, delivered, provisioned, or used, unless defective or required by applicable law.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items may not qualify for return, including opened consumables, used accessories, damaged packaging, software licenses, activated subscriptions, special-order products, custom-configured equipment, hygiene-sensitive items, and products excluded by supplier or manufacturer policies unless defective.

No Fault Found

If a product is returned as defective but no fault is found after testing or supplier assessment, the customer may be responsible for return shipping, collection, re-delivery, testing, handling, or supplier assessment charges where permitted by applicable law.

Customer Data

Customers are responsible for backing up and removing personal or business data from devices before returning products. Circuit Plus shall not be responsible for the loss, recovery, disclosure, or retention of data stored on returned devices.

Return Shipment Tracking

Customers returning products using their own courier service should retain proof of shipment and tracking information until the return process has been completed.

Fraudulent Or Misrepresented Returns

Circuit Plus reserves the right to refuse returns where products have been intentionally damaged, altered, modified, substituted, tampered with, or where misleading information has been provided during the return process.

Certain business-to-business purchases, bulk orders, project orders, special procurement orders, and corporate supply transactions may be subject to supplier terms and may not qualify for the same return rights available to ordinary consumers under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Warranty Claims

Warranty-related returns are subject to the Circuit Plus Warranty Policy, supplier warranty process, manufacturer warranty conditions, proof of purchase, product serial number verification, and assessment of the reported issue.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing accurate order details, delivery information, proof of purchase, photos where required, complete packaging where applicable, and truthful fault descriptions. Incorrect or incomplete information may delay returns, refunds, exchanges, or warranty assessments.

Lost Or Damaged Return Shipments

Where the customer arranges return shipping, the customer is responsible for using a reliable and traceable courier service. Circuit Plus is not responsible for products lost or damaged during customer-arranged return shipping.

Refund Method

Refunds are generally made to the original payment method used for the order. In certain cases, Circuit Plus may request banking details or additional verification before processing a refund.
